They could have shown up as a completely different person or maybe they showed up exactly as it is supposed to. I have many times in a negotiation where Ill say, I will acknowledge my feelings. And five are things that you want in your future. It snowballs and keeps going on and on. So, I guess thats led to some media opportunities for you and other things in this space? This is awesome. Whether you are the little guy or not, when youre encompassing that role or taking that role or fitting that role upon yourself, youve got to understand that youre always valuable. Im going to focus on us having a good conversation. In other words, I believe that a huge part of this is the universe, energy, and vibration. Im going to focus on harmony. Shes not a numbers person, she was freaking out, she thought that he was trying to screw her. You could type it out. Hes making more than what he would have likely been making even if hed stayed in the old job from before because he had that change in his thinking. I was very intentional about how I communicated my message, because, it sounds a little pretentious, but I dont view this as a book, and Im not an author. Im not in each persons business but I would argue that abundance thinking is so brilliant and beautiful, because it bleeds across so many different ways. So, congratulations on that. If you dont have those experience points and youre in a situation where lets say, youre a midsize company or small company doing business with a big company, and youre only going to do one of those deals a year. Its a powerful exercise. Im tricky and strategic about this stuff. Love it. Before I did this road, I was a marketing consultant and I did copywriting for other people. Unbeknownst to me at the time, because I didnt have the language, the ones that worked well are ones where I was doing the law of attraction. But then, I took the action of grinding it out, of writing it, of spitting it out on paper. But thats the thing that knows your fears, uncertainties, and doubts. Lets talk a little bit about gratitude because you do a lot of work in gratitude. Thats the part I like about your book. I did it by waking up at 7:00 AM, maybe. Not the element of gratitude itself, but the concept of what it means to people. It started with an apple falling from a tree in 1666. They were still going to have to hear about each other at a minimum. Theres a lot going on. If the outcome is not what I want, but Im still safe, is it that bad? This isnt the right company. Im going to cut it into eight slices and there are eight slices to half.. And its a misguided way of protecting you. Youre coming up with better ideas because your subconscious mind is coming up with these different things and feeding them through you. When you think about it, your thought is like this abstract thing in your mind. Within four months, Im making more money than at any point in life before then. As a lot of youve heard me say before, the hardest part of any negotiation is the negotiation we have between our ears. You can make new lists every day. Im super happy to be here, and excited to go down whatever road you want to talk about. I feel like the value Im bringing here is not recognized and maybe Im not recognizing it. You can still use this technique to help you get more of what you want in your negotiation. Part of the reason that people share this book is because they, again, its not an act. Those precedents that work best for you in your negotiation, youre going to make those continue to happen. I have a black belt in martial arts. Its a strategy. You want to take an honest look in the mirror at yourself because the more personal your stuff is, the more universal it is. If you poke a hole in it and you drain the yolk from the white and the yolk and white out of the shell, you have an empty shell, and then you separate the yolk and the white. Everything around us is a vibration, including our thoughts. Its just the way we are. Even when things are bad, theres always something to appreciate. I can say that I really care for people. You then write something about your future that youre grateful for. Now, is that the one that you use or is that a primary one for you, personally? Ill do whatever I can do to get out of my own way. It sounds so philosophical and grand, but when youre really in service to your audience, the products that you come up with and the way you deliver on them, will be effortless. So, lets talk a little bit about the content itself. He got it and it was with his dream company. I texted you because I was like, Oh my god. I felt that result came out of gratitude because I was able to think of different ways to ask questions of each of them that put them in different mindsets, place, and position so they could act in a way that was consistent with what they were trying to attract and not based on scarcity, because they had grandkids and all that stuff. We have a conscious, and we have a subconscious and in the middle, weve got that ego, which is stronger than the conscious mind, but nothing compared to the subconscious.
